"Rags to Riches" Concert, Sunday, April 9, 2017, 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at First Covenant Church, 2101 W. 2nd Street, Duluth, MN. Enjoy live performances of this happy, syncopated music called Ragtime and its related music. Special tribute to Scott Joplin, King Composer of Ragtime. He died April 1st, 1917 so to commemorate his many rags, we are asking performers to play at least one of Joplin's rags. Event is FREE and open to all. Performers are all ages and levels of expertise. "Afterglow" to follow at Sir Benedict's Tavern on the Lake. Good food and music continues. Ragtime is a good time.
