All proceeds will from the Running for our Heroes 5K will go to the UWS-Veterans and Non-Traditional Student Center and the Douglas County Soldiers and Sailors Relief Fund - both dedicated to helping Veterans and their families. The children's race begins at 8:45am, the 5K at 9:00am; after all participants have completed the 5K, awards will be presented, then door-prizes will be awarded. All participants will automatically have their name entered into the drawings. Last year we had over 30 prizes!
