Wildwoods Wildlife Rehabilitation is holding its annual fundraiser, featuring live music, great appetizers, deserts, craft beers & cocktails, and silent auction. This year's event will be held on Saturday, April 14th from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Great Lakes Aquarium. Music performed by Eldo Abrahamson Jr. Food will be provided by local purveyors such as OMC Smokehouse, Northern Waters, Zenith Bread, Love Creamery, Chester Creek Café. Castle Danger Brewery, Vikre Distillery, Bent Paddle, Mike and Jen’s Cocoa, and Duluth Coffee Co. are pouring drinks. Full access to the Great Lakes Aquarium exhibits. Wildwoods will be sharing photos and stories of the many wildlife rescues that occurred over the last year. A silent auction will be held, featuring unique items, trip packages, artwork, and certificates from local businesses and artisans. Tickets to the Wildwoods Fundraiser are $25 in advance and can be purchased through a link on the Wildwoods Facebook page or for $30 at the door. Kids 15 and under are $15. Free event parking at the aquarium. Wildwoods is a 501(c)3 non-profit wildlife rehabilitation organization in Duluth. We serve as a resource for people who find orphaned, sick, or injured wild animals, and take in over 1250 animals each year, with the goal of returning them to health and releasing them back to the wild. We also offer community programs that promote peaceful coexistence with our wild neighbors, as well as easy, non-violent solutions to human/wildlife conflict.
