Beautiful Lake Superior views, tall pine forests, a deep Native American history, and beautiful wetlands at Wisconsin Point will inspire you to create postcards reflective of the natural beauty of our freshwater estuary, while you learn about the importance of the area to people, birds, plants and fish.
This program will be outdoors and will involve some light hiking, so please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle.
Participants will meet at the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve on Barker's Island and carpool to Wisconsin Point.

Meet and carpool to Wisconsin Point: From the traffic light at the intersection of US Hwys 2 and 53 (Belknap Street and East Second Street in Superior), drive toward Lake Superior and cross the short causeway onto Barker's Island.
