Are you ready to #ShopSmallSuperior? After scoring some Black Friday shopping deals, remember to save a bit of your holiday shopping for your local stores!
The Superior-Douglas County Area Chamber of Commerce and the Superior Business Improvement District are yet again teaming up to promote Small Business Saturday in an effort to continually support and promote our local small businesses! In the coming weeks, the two organizations will work together to market this national shopping holiday (held every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and Black Friday) on a local level.
Given the special circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we're extending the celebration to provide more opportunities for our business community while creating a safe experience for shoppers. This year we're excited to announce the launch of Shop Small Superior Week – beginning on Small Business Saturday, November 28 and running through December 5. This new format allows customers the opportunity to shop over the course of a week vs. concentrating on just one day. We know that our businesses are already taking precautions to ensure the safety of their customers, and hope this will help alleviate any capacity worries during those key times. Please note, due to COVID-19, we will not be doing the passport promotion this year.
Multiple Superior Businesses will be participating in this national shopping holiday by offering deals, discounts, samples, customer appreciation activities, and more! Show your support for your neighborhood businesses by shopping local during Shop Small Superior Week!
