Sing! A Women's Chorus will perform a free concert at Superior Public Library. Directed by Mags David, this group was founded in 1999 and learns music through the oral tradition, performing a variety of songs from Europe, the U.S., West Africa, as well as songs composed for the group by its director. Their primary focus is to enjoy themselves while making music together. For this performance the group will be joined by Darin Bergsven and Nancy MacGibbon on percussion for the West African songs, with Darin adding guitar for a couple of their originals. This performance is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library.
