Something Superior - Comedy Improv in the Park

The Something Superior Improv Comedy Group invites you to test your funny bone this summer! Grab a friend, lawn chairs and maybe a picnic basket and head to Billings Park and enjoy some free improv comedy on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:45 PM.  It's free! It's fun!  Come on down!

What is “improv”?

Improvisational comedy, or "Improv" for short, is made up of different kinds of skits or games that are created on the spot by actors using suggestions from the audience. If you have ever seen the show "Whose Line is it Anyway" - it's a lot like that. Because the comedy is completely made up you never know what will happen, but it's always fun!

Members of Something Superior Improv are high school and veteran improvisational comedy actors. New members are welcome to try out before the show. This is a great chance to try your hand at some Improv or just watch and have a few laughs.

Location, dates and times

Performances are at the Second Pavillion in Billings Parkon Tuesday evenings from 7:00 until 8:45 PM on   July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, and August 3.  The last Comedy Improv will be August 13.

In case of rain, the location will be moved to the United Presbyterian Church, 229 North 28^th Street, Superior.
