A spaghetti dinner and raffle fundraiser is being held by friends of Karla and Jim Hanson of Superior at Concordia Lutheran Church.
The fundraiser is being held to help the Hansons with ongoing medical bills & associated expenses. Karla has undergone four transplants, then became ill with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and is now receiving on-going treatment for skin cancer caused by anti-rejection drugs. Jim was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and had been receiving treatment in Duluth, but after showing no signs of improvement was transferred to Minneapolis for more extensive
treatment.
