Stampede 1st Annual Armed Forces Day Event

On Saturday, May 16^TH Stampede Football will conduct their 1^ST Annual Armed Forces Day event to help give our Armed Forces the honor & recognition they deserve.

The United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, as well as Wisconsin & Minnesota Army National Guard will participate in this event by setting up recruitment booths and displays. The street next to the stadium will be filled with a variety of displays including ''tons & tons'' of military vehicles and equipment.

Festivities will begin at 11:00 AM and wrap up at 3:00 PM. This event will be held at Ole Haugsrud Field on the University of Wisconsin-Superior campus (Home of Stampede Football).  Beginning at 4:00 PM Superior Stampede takes on the Eau Claire Crush. Courtesy of our Armed Forces, active military and members of service type organizations (from American Legion & VFW to Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts) will be provided FREE with ID and/or uniform. 

The football game itself will include: Presentation of colors and rifle salute by members of Superior and Duluth American Legion and VFW.
