Street Dance of the Summer

Get ready for the ‘Street Dance of the Summer’ plus a full day of fun events to help raise money for Superior High School Athletic and Academic teams. Saturday July 28th make plans to head over to 34th Street & Tower Avenue in Superior for car show, games, great food & beverages, street dance and loads of fun! Presented by Grizzly’s Wood-fired Grill and O’Neill’s Pub & Liquor.

The fun kicks off at noon with the “Zumbathon”! Love Zumba? Think you have what it takes? Just $10 to enter the Zumbathon. The car show begins at 2:30 p.m. Shine & polish up your buggy, bring her down and show her off, just a small $10 entry fee gets your ride in the show. Car show is free for spectators. At 4:00 p.m. get geared up for some serious bean bag action with the Bean Bag Tournament. Register day of event, only $10. Then at 7:30 p.m. we’ll be dancing in the streets with Rock Brigade, $10 gets you in the gate, must be 21 years or older. And of course Grizzly’s will be on hand all day with delicious, mouth-watering, wood-fired treats and O’Neill’s will be serving up all your favorite ice cold summertime beverages.

With budget cuts and restraints there just never seems to be enough funding to go around for high school extra-curricular activities. All proceeds from the “Street Dance of the Summer” help support the Athletic and Academic programs at Superior Senior High. Come join the fun for a great cause!
