This year the Superior Athletic and Academic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place at Superior Middle School on Saturday, March 31st, 2012. Doors open at 5:00pm and hors d'oeuvres will be served, dinner will be at 6:00pm, induction ceremony at 7:00pm, and raffle drawing at approximately 8:30pm. There will be eight cash raffle prizes this year for a total of $2000, with $1000 being our top raffle prize. After the induction ceremony everyone is invited to Aces on 29th for a social. Aces will generously donate 10% of their sales after 9:00pm to the athletic and academic programs.
The 2012 imductees for the Academic Hall of Fame are: DeAnn Burger/Letourneau-Lifetime Achievement Award, and Kevin Kadrmas-Community/Employee/Volunteer Award. The 2012 inductees for the Athletic Hall of Fame are: Pete Susens-Coaching Achievement Award; Tim Heikkila and Rick Rockwood-Individual Athletic Accomplishment Awards; and the 1990 Superior Senior High School Football Team-Team Accomplishment Award.
Tickets are on sale now until Friday, March 23rd. Tickets cost $40 per person. Your ticket purchase includes hors d'oeuvres, dinner, induction ceremony and a chance to win some great cash prizes in the raffle. You do not need to be present to win a prize, and all money raised helps SHS academic and athletic teams.
