Event Description:Become a Delegate!
34th Superior Days will take place in Madison on February 12 and 13, 2019. Superior Days is the oldest community grassroots lobbying event in the State of Wisconsin. The Superior Days co-chairs, Mayor Jim Paine and County Chairperson Mark Liebaert invite you to participate as a delegate. There is still time to register and secure your room (room block at Concourse expires on January 18th). Lobbying Agenda
Legislative issues for 34th Superior Days:- Medicaid funding for youth and adults - reimbursement rates for behavioral health services, nursing homes, and personal care workers.
- 1/2% local option sales tax for roads.
- Funding for Higher Education. Support UW-System request, which provides an additional $2.68 million for UW-Superior.
Display at the Reception
Display your business or organization at the Best of Wisconsin's Northwest and Superior Days Reception! On Tuesday, February 12th, Superior Days will host a reception for legislators and staff, as well as state agencies. We anticipate about 300 people to attend this year. It is free to display, just register at www.SuperiorDays.com or call UW-Extension.
