Superior High School DECA Tailgate Soiree

The DECA program at SHS holds a tailgate party each year, with the proceeds going to a worthy organization that helps others.

In conjunction with the Spartans’ football game against Eau Claire Memorial at 7 p.m. Friday, Tracy Danovsky’s DECA kids are hosting the DECA annual Tailgate soiree.

The party will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. with grilled hot dogs, chips and pop or water for those paying their $5 fee at the gate.

Everyone should bring the kids for the pregame meal since the theme this year is one of a carnival. There will be games and prizes for all who attend. All ages will enjoy a great time at the DECA tailgate party and will help others.

All proceeds will be presented to “Hunger Takes No Holiday,” who will present a check to Second Harvest Food Bank.

Through Second Harvest, nine food shelves in Superior will benefit and help those who are food challenged. For each dollar raised, $10 worth of food, or five meals, will be provided.
