Superior's Manufacturers Revealed / Business After Five

Manufacturing, and manufacturing careers, have been getting quite a bit of coverage lately.

Employers have made desperate pleas for skilled workers. There is a heightened awareness of the value that manufacturing brings to our community. And, there is a growing recognition of the innovation and intelligence that goes into today’s manufacturing jobs. Manufacturing is critical to the future success of Superior and the State of Wisconsin. No other sector has the job multiplier effect that manufacturing does.

The Chamber and WITC-Superior, have partnered to host the Superior's Manufacturers Revealed event in conjunction with October's Business After Five. We will also be kicking off the event with a special ribbon cutting at 4:30pm.  

Please join us on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 5:00 - 7:00pm at WITC-Superior to take a tour of the manufacturers displays as well as the WITC facility in which potential employees can get training in pursuing these jobs as their future career.

The event is Free and Open to the Public. This event allows the public the opportunity to see the products being made in our own backyards and learn how these jobs impact the community. There is no registration for the event.
