The Superior Singers, under the direction of Brian G. MacDonell, present their 2012-13 Christmas concert
entitled ''Tonight, Heaven Touches Earth'' throughout the Twin Ports and surrounding area this December and January. ''Tonight, Heaven Touches Earth'', written and arranged by Randy Vader and Jay Rouse with songs from Bill and Gloria Gaither, is an hour long choral cantata chronicling and celebrating the birth of our Lord. Along with traditional carols, ''Tonight, Heaven Touches Earth'' also includes majestic and exciting songs of praise that are sure to stir the emotions that are linked to this wondrous time of the year.

This 32 voice choir in their 21st season as the premier entertainment choir of the Northland raises the bar, with a more contemporary feel to the music, while still offering some of the great Christmas anthems that we all love. Anticipating the coming of the Savior, ''Tonight, Heaven Touches Earth'' sets the tone with the beautiful title track which leads into the ominous, ''The People Who Walk Now in Darkness''. Those who walk into the light this season will then be illuminated by the wonderful Gloria Gaither theme song ''Tonight'' - an incredibly exciting and memorable anthem. The Superior Singers next feature two songs with a ''Gloria'' theme in the classical tradition— ''Sing Gloria'', based on the Spanish carol ''
