Superior Singers- Free Holiday Concert

Under the direction of Brian G. MacDonell, the Superior Singers present their Christmas tour entitled:  ''SHINE ON!'' - an upbeat, exciting collection of traditional hymns and carols along with wonderful, new pieces celebrating the birth of our Lord. Representing every style of music from blues to gospel to country, ''Shine On!'' will touch the hearts of all and remind us of the one true reason for the season.

The 30 voice choir, in their 19th season, opens the show with the rousing ''Shine On!'' which beckons us to let our love lights shine for all. As ''Christmas Makes Me Cry'' makes us think about those who aren’t able to celebrate Christmas the way they would like; ''Hark, the Herald'' and ''Song to the King'' reaffirm the hope for all that this season is all about.

Audience participation is the word for a praise set of familiar carols and the concert comes to a close with the powerful finale ''Still the Lamb'' – that even though the world has changed, He is still the source for all our hopes and joys during this holiday season and beyond.
