    Pattison State Park offers family-oriented naturalist programs during the Summer months. All activities are free, but vehicle admission stickers are required.

    Today's program "The People Before the Settlers is presented by Gary Johnson.

    Who were these people that inhabited Douglas County before the settlers came? What was their lifestyle like in this wild country? How did they contribute to our culture? Come to appreicate the Ojibwa culture.

    Gary Johnson is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Superior and is the Director of the First Nations Studies Department.
