This class is being offered through WITC, but the class will be held at Duluth Pottery and meets Wednesdays~February 13 through February 27, 2008.
In this class, we will explore design and pattern for tiles by using underglaze techniques and Maiolica design in glaze painting. Tiles will be fired on site at the pottery studio for students to take home. This course covers the techniques and tools needed to create artwork in a variety of mediums. Art history, appreciation and the principles of good design are included. A presentation of the marketing aspects will be given.
Please bring apron or smock to wear.
