The musical Titanic, presented by the Bluebird Foundation and produced by Lundeen Productions will be performed this July in Duluth. The production will include 23 of the area's best singers, playing the roles of real people who were aboard the Titanic when the ship went down on the evening and early morning of April 14 and 15, 1912.
The score by Maury Weston is one of the most lush and beautiful in recent theatrical history. The original Broadway production of Titanic from 1997 won 5 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Original Score.
Midi Restaurant at Fitger's will be preparing a dinner theater option for an additional $25 per person (which includes beverage, tax, and gratuity)

All proceeds from the area show will go to the Bluebird Foundation whose mission is: To be an advocate for area youth in the performing arts and to create awareness of the power of the arts to enhance self esteem, to increase understanding of others, and to improve academic performance.
