Tough Enough To Wear Pink
Name: Tough Enough To Wear PinkDate: August 29, 2008Time: 7:00 PM - 7:00 PM CDTEvent Description:The concept of tough cowboys wearing pink might sound funny, but that is what makes Tough Enough to Wear Pink so special. Pink is the color to wear if you are a cowboy, cowgirl or rodeo fan to show support for breast cancer research. In the Twin Ports, wearing pink is also an opportunity to recognize the over 200,000 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States in this year. Are you tough enough?
The Tough Enough To Wear Pink campaign first came to light on 2005 at the Wrangler National Finals, when one evening of competition was devoted to the cause.
Pink symbolizes courage, strength and determination. Take a "tough stance" on breast cancer. Wear pink on August 29th at the Great Northern Classic Rodeoto show your support. Also, visit the breast cancer awareness booth and check out the great items for sale and register for some raffle items.
