UWS Mens Hockey ''Pink the Rink''

Pink the Rink is a campaign designed to help the public become more informed about breast cancer, while raising money for a cure. The Yellowjacket mens hockey players will wear pink collector's edition jerseys during the Saturday, February 6th. The jerseys will then be auctioned off to benefit breast cancer research at SMDC. The monies raised will be targeted towards the digital mammography machine at SMDC's Superior location.
Bidding for the jerseys will begin at $100. There will also be autographed team photos, team jerseys and some special pink sticks. The bidding for the men's jerseys will begin at 2:00 PM on February 6 and end 10 minutes after game time. In addition to the jerseys being auctioned off there is apparel for sale.
The Superior Jaycees and the Yellowjackets are encouraging fans to wear pink attire to support the cause when attending the games. For spectators who do not have any pink clothing in their closets, they may order Pink the Rink merchandise @ www.superiorjaycees.org or merchandise is available @ Play It Again (Superior location) . There will be a limited supply of merchandise available at the games for purchase.
