On Tuesday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m., the UW-Superior Percussion Ensemble and Steel Drum Ensemble will perform in concert at Thorpe Langley Auditorium in Old Main on the UW-Superior campus. The theme of the concert is The Spiritual Marimba.
The first half of the program will explore the mystical sounds of the marimba while featuring two student soloists, Cody Thoreson and Olivia Krause.
The second half of the program will warm up the audience with the sound of steel drums as COLD Steel plays several pieces, including the classics, The Bee's Melody, and Maria, featuring the calypso stylings of Dr. Richard Robbins, vocals.
