On May 26, the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center, Douglas County Veterans Service Office, Wisconsin Army National Guard, El Dorado Bar and Grill, StoneHouse Martial Arts, Great Lakes Bounce Houses and the City of Superior are kicking off summer and honoring veterans with a free community BBQ. From 10-3 the community is invited to a free event with music, kids games, bounce houses, a climbing wall and great BBQ. There is no cost to attend! Just bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic by the harbor at the Bong Center.
