Join us for a free screening of Wisconsin's Nazi Resistance: The Mildred Fish Harnack Story, a documentary that takes a look at a Milwaukee-born, University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate who became the only American woman ever executed on the direct order of Adolf Hitler for her involvement in the Berlin resistance movement. Following the screening, Deb Nordgren will be facilitating a discussion on the film.
Deb is a retired associate professor in library science of 24 years, the last of which were spent as library director at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She was also a member and chair of the Women & Gender studies program since 1991 until retirement.
