The 11th annual Northland Community Wellness Day runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Essentia Health Duluth Heritage Center, 120 S. 30th Ave. W., Duluth. Admission and parking are free.
Northland Community Wellness Day (NCWD) is committed to providing a free and inclusive community event that highlights local wellness resources and services through exhibits, demonstrations, workshops and family-friendly activities.
More than 80 organizations related to health and wellness, public safety, sustainability and financial literacy are participating. The event also features a bounce house, face painting, the Boys & Girls Club activities and climbing wall, games with UMD athletes, and these demonstrations and workshops:

Northland Community Wellness Day is an annual fun, family-friendly event that helps define the Eight Dimensions of Wellness—emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual—to achieve longevity and improved quality of life.
“Our goal is to help create an awareness of the importance of practicing wellness in our everyday lives and to acknowledge the many resources in our area that support our community’s well-being” said Helen Smith Stone, NCWD’s 2020 Event Coordinator.
