The City of Superior is almost ready to adopt our Comprehensive Plan and we need your feedback!
What is a Comprehensive Plan? The plan sets a vision for the next 20 years and defines goals and action steps to guide development decisions. There are nine elements included in this planning process: housing; economic development; land use; transportation; utilities and community facilities; intergovernmental cooperation; agricultural, natural, and cultural resources; coastal resources; and hazard mitigation.
How do I provide feedback? You can attend our in-person open house on December 1
st from 4-7pm at Superior Government Center. The open house will provide a summary of the Comprehensive Plan, outline our community’s goals over the next 20 years, and highlight action items we will use to reach these goals. Most importantly, the open house will provide an opportunity to ask any questions you may have, provide feedback on the plan, and discuss the plan with staff. For those who are unable to attend the open house, there is also a survey available on the project website to gather your input.

Paper copies of the plan update will also be available for viewing starting on Wednesday, November 24th at the following locations:
- City of Superior Clerk’s Office; 1316 North 14th Street; 2nd Floor Government Center
- City of Superior Public Library; 1530 Tower Avenue
Over the next two months, the Plan Commission and City Council will be involved in the review of the Comprehensive Plan so please do not hesitate to provide your questions or comments!
