Free Wednesday Night Concert Series kicks-off July 6

June 17, 2022 (Duluth, MN) – Glensheen is excited to announce the lineup for Duluth’s premier summer concert series on the water, Concerts on the Pier 2022. We look forward to hosting 9 bands this year in July and August, with our lineup kicking off on July 6 with music from country musician Rafe Carlson. The event is free and open to the public from 5 to 8 pm, with music starting at 7 pm.
Come sip on craft beers & N/A drinks, connect with neighbors and friends, play some lawn games, grab some grub from a local food truck, eat local-favorite Love Creamery ice cream, and enjoy a lakeside campfire. Guests are encouraged to paddle or boat in to view the concert from the water, or are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show from the shore. Be sure to get here early to get your spot! Chester and Clara Congdon loved to highlight local makers and artists in our own state, so in their tradition, the vast majority of the artists in our lineup are from Minnesota and Duluth.

Take a Tour Before the Event
Prior to attending Concerts on the Pier, we encourage guests to take a tour of Glensheen. Explore the 39-room mansion with a Classic Tour of the lower three floors or purchase a Full Mansion Tour to see everything on the Classic Tour plus the 3rd floor and attic. All tours are self-guided. The Glensheen App provides additional information for guests on the tour and is available in both English and Spanish. The last Full Mansion Tour is sold at 4:30 pm with the final Classic Tour sold at 5
pm.
Glensheen Mansion, perched on the shore of Lake Superior, is the most visited historic home in Minnesota and Duluth’s #1 Paid Attraction on TripAdvisor. The 12-acre estate features gardens, bridges, and the famous 39-room mansion built with remarkable 20th century craftsmanship. It serves to tell the story of the Congdon family and the Duluth region.
