Get free professional FAFSA assistance at College Goal Wisconsin
College Goal Wisconsin is a financial aid event available to any person planning to attend any U.S. college. Attendees will receive free onsite professional assistance completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
Anyone who is planning to pursue a post-secondary education in the 2020-21 academic year should complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA is the form that must be submitted in order to be considered for federal and state financial aid including grants and loans. Students pursuing a post-secondary education in 2020-21 can complete the FAFSA beginning October 1.

-WITC-Ashland Conference Center, Monday, October 21 at 6 p.m.
-WITC-Rice Lake Conference Center, Monday, October 28 at 6 p.m.
-WITC-New Richmond Conference Center, Monday, November 4 at 6 p.m.
What to bring:
-2018 federal tax return and W2s
-2018 untaxed income returns such as child support, veteran non-education benefits
-Information on savings, retirements, business assets
-Personal email address for student and different email address for parent
-Social security number
-Date of birth
-Month and year of marriage, divorce, widow or separation
If you are a dependent student for financial aid purposes, you will also need these same items for your parent(s). For dependent students, parent(s) are encouraged to attend.
In addition to getting professional help completing the FAFSA, attendees will have the opportunity to enter a scholarship drawing. The scholarship can be used at any private or public accredited college/university in the United States. The winner must be attending college in the fall of 2020 as a fulltime undergraduate student.
