Love your Local Artist event looking for local artists!
After receiving feedback from many of our local artists, the Friends of the Library have decided to once again hold Love Your Local Artist in February. Our 9th annual Love Your Local Artist event will be held Friday, February 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Superior Public Library.
We are once again inviting local artists to sign up to offer their work for sale at the event. As in previous years, we will be having our silent auction and Adopt-a-Book sale, with all proceeds from the registration fees and silent auction being used for library materials and services.

Here are the details of Love Your Local Artist 2019:
REGISTRATION FEE:
The cost for a table will be $30. We have a limited number of tables and they will be reserved first-come, first-serve, so make sure to reserve yours soon.
As in previous years, we use every single table we have in the library for this event, and table sizes vary. We have 5-foot, 6-foot, and a limited number of 8-foot tables. If you need one of our larger tables, please let me know when you register and we will do our best to make it happen.
SILENT AUCTION ITEMS
Once again, artists have the option of donating a piece of artwork to the silent auction in lieu of the registration fee. The value of the donated artwork must be high enough that the minimum bid would be $30 (in order to cover the registration fee). Silent auction items must be dropped off at the library by Monday, February 11 in order to be included in the silent auction.
Please contact me to sign up. I will need the following information:
- Name and contact information (best way to get in touch with you).
- Type of art you will be offering at the event.
- Table size preference?
- Whether you plan to donate an item for the silent auction or pay the registration fee.
- Any special requests (we will do our best to accommodate you).
