Northwood Technical College Announces New Program Move To Manufacturing
MOVE TO MANUFACTURING
Northwood Technical College is pleased to announce the launch of a new program to increase the number of qualified manufacturing candidates for our local business and community. Move To Manufacturing is a FREE training program designed to quickly grow the manufacturing industry workforce. Participants in this program will complete 8 hours of self-paced online training along with 20 hours of hands on skills such as:
- Analyzing blueprints
- Measurement
- Shop skills
- Building and assembling products
- Safe work practices
- Problem solving
- Team building
After completion of the program, participants will be guaranteed a local job interview, a $500 bonus within their first 90 days, and free company tours.
