Senior Connections in Superior is a member of the Twin Ports Area Walk to End Alzheimer’s planning committee.  We are approaching Superior businesses to "Paint the Town Purple."  Our goal is to raise awareness about the Twin Ports Area Walk to End Alzheimer's that is occurring in Canal Park at the DECC and along the Lakewalk on Saturday, September 11th.  We are hoping you will consider decorating your front window purple whether it’s with lights, flowers, artwork or walk posters and signage between August 1st and September 11th.

We are hoping that you will consider any of the following:
    • Setting out donation boxes on your counter
    • Selling paper forget-me-nots for a $1.00 donation (they are barcoded)
    • Doing a give back event, or selling a specialty item to support the Walk to End Alzheimer's.  We will help promote it to our walkers and the community!
    • Purchasing a sign of support for $100 to be displayed at your business and along the walk route on walk day.

Funds raised support the Alzheimer’s Association and provide much needed research as well as services to families living with Alzheimer’s disease in the Twin Ports area.  Please let Senior Connections in Superior know if you are interested in participating by July 15th so we can provide you materials and get the information out to our volunteers and promote your business in the press!  If you have any questions or need additional information, feel free to contact Senior Connections in Superior at (715) 394-3611
support@seniorconnectionswi.org or Brenda Conley (Alzheimer’s Association Community Engagement Manager) at 218-733-2560 or bconley@alz.org.  Thank you, Senior Connections 1805 N. 16th Street Superior, WI (715) 394-3611.
