UW-Superior’s LiveWell to host free summer kickoff event on Wisconsin Point
SUPERIOR, Wis. — LiveWell, an initiative of the University of Wisconsin-Superior’s Pruitt Center for Mindfulness and Well-Being, will host a free summer kickoff event at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 26 on Wisconsin Point, Lot 5, which is the nearest to the lighthouse.
The free event will include stand-up paddleboarding, saunas and cold plunge, bonfires, hot dogs and s’mores along with games and outdoor activities for all ages and energy levels.
Stand up paddle boarding is supported by North Shore SUP’s Paddle it Forward Project, a community-driven non-profit organization committed to uplifting at-risk and underrepresented communities through free, immersive recreational programming and transformative experiences on the unique waterways of the Lake Superior Region.
