UW-Superior Symphonic Band concert to celebrate 50th anniversary of moon landing
The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will hold its Symphonic Band concert on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Thorpe Langley Auditorium.
The concert, titled “To Slip the Surly Bonds of Earth,” will celebrates the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. The performance will include speeches by former Presidents John F. Kennedy, Ronald Regan and George W. Bush.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and free for students. Thorpe Langley Auditorium is located in Old Main at 1710 Weeks Ave. in Superior.
