The University of Wisconsin-Superior will welcome new law-enforcement officers during an oath ceremony at 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room.
Judge Kelly Thimm will be administering the oath ceremony. The new UW-Superior officers to be sworn in include Keith Douglas, Jeffrey Fouts, Robert Lear, Damon Rankin, Jadon Stone and Marshall Talley. Joe Eickman, UW-Superior director of public safety, will be sworn in as the new chief. This is the most sworn-in officers UW-Superior has had in more than a decade.
In compliance with the State of Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board (LESB), all Law Enforcement Officers are required to take an Oath and Swear-In to their position. This is within UW System policy in hiring police officers for campus police.
The Yellowjacket Union is located at 1605 Catlin Ave. in Superior. All COVID protocols must be maintained.
