UWS Orchestra to collaborate with SMS and SHS students for Superior String Day Feb. 18
More than 70 student musicians from Superior High and Middle schools for free a performance with the UW-Superior Orchestra for Superior String Day on Tuesday, February 18, at 7 p.m. in Thorpe Langley Auditorium.
Under the guidance of UW-Superior Chamber Strings director Erin Aldridge, Superior High School Orchestra director Amy Eichers, and Superior Middle School Orchestra director Jenna Mattson, this collaboration of three string orchestras will include “Boreas: The Cold Wind” and excerpts from “Fantasia.”
“This is a fun event that showcases the string talent from the Superior School District and UWS,” said Aldridge.
