Opening Night - Winter Artist Showcase

The Superior Council for the Arts is proud to announce the Opening Night Celebration for its 2026 Winter Artist Showcase, taking place on Friday, January 9th, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 PM at Empire Coffee in Superior, WI.

This special evening will highlight the incredible talent within our area as local artists present their work in a cozy, creative atmosphere. Guests will enjoy light refreshments, great coffee (for purchase), and the opportunity to mingle with artists, neighbors, and supporters of the arts community. In addition to the visual artwork displayed along Empire Coffee’s gallery wall, performing artists will also share short performances throughout the event..

Another highlight of the evening will be the 2025 Artist of the Year Awards Presentation, where the Superior Council for the Arts will honor one outstanding local creator for their contributions to the arts and community. Attendees will also have the exciting opportunity to vote for their favorite piece of artwork featured in the showcase.
