The Heavy Equipment Mechanic's work involves a variety of makes and models of trucks and heavy road equipment. A Heavy Equipment Mechanic performs difficult and skilled mechanical work in the repair of heavy equipment. The employee is expected to plan their work and make decisions within established policy.
