UW-Superior presents annual Season of Song concerts in Duluth and Superior

The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will present its annual Season of Song concerts on Sunday, December 5, at 3 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Duluth and Tuesday, December 7, at 7:30 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church in Superior.

Season of Song, a cherished Twin Ports holiday tradition, returns to live performances with music from the UW-Superior choirs and orchestra, under the direction of Erin Aldridge and Michael Fuchs.  This year’s performance titled, “Angels, where you soar,” will seek to uplift audiences through beautiful and meaningful choral and orchestral music. 

“This concert has always been the one of the highlights of our year,” says Fuchs. “After being unable to perform in person last year, there is a palatable excitement as we prepare share this holiday tradition with the community again.” 

Season of Song will feature beloved holiday favorites including Franz Biebl’s “Ave Maria” and “O Holy Night,” as well as music by Jake Runestad, Antoine Brumel, Ralph Vaughan Williams and more. 
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased with cash or check at the door. Masks are required at both performances. First Lutheran Church is at 1100 E. Superior St. in Duluth. Concordia Lutheran Church is located at 1708 John Ave. in Superior.
