    Event Description:
    Did you know stormwater enters Lake Superior without treatment by the wastewater treatment plant? The EPA lists stormwater as the biggest source of pollution to surface water. But you can do something to help!

    All are welcome to join the City of Superior and Douglas Co. on Friday, June 7 at 9:00am, in the atrium of the Government Center (1316 N 14th St, Superior) to learn more about the City’s Storm Drain Adoption Program. After a brief discussion about the Storm Drain Adoption Program, including a chance to view the clean-up kit offered to all Storm Drain Adopters, we will go outside to inspect and stencil several storm drains.

    This is a great chance to learn how you can clean and inspect stormwater drains to help keep Lake Superior clean, and play a part in protecting your neighborhood from localized flooding caused by blocked drains.
