Kari Toyota's Fox Trot 5K

The Fox Trot 5K will be a race for all ages. It features both a 5K race and kids' race all to raise money for our local veterans. The Fox Trot 5K will be a Run/Walk race beginning and ending behind the Superior High School on the track at NBC Spartan Sports complex.

The Children's race is between 10:00am and 10:30am on the NBC Spartan Sports Complex Track. Following the completion of the Children's race there will be an adult race open to racers of all ability. Race registration will take place at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex starting at 8:30am.  Following the completion of the full race soda, and free Subway sandwiches will be given out to participants immediately following the completion of the race at 11:30am. In addition awards will be given out at the Eagles Club Aerie 80 following the race.  

Partners in this event include: Kari Toyota, Sweeden Sweets, Fox 21, Duluth Running Company, Superior Douglas County Chamber of Commerce, Subway Restaurants, National Bank of Commerce, Pizza Man, and Eagles Club Aerie 80, others associated through advertising.

The route is as follows:

1) Start on the track at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex, complete partial lap

2) Continue out of the complex heading south on Spartan Rd.

3) Turn right onto East bound lane of North 28th Street.

4) Continue on North 28th Street until Hammond Avenue.

5) Turn left onto South bound lane of Hammond Avenue, continue until N. 37th St.

6) Turn around in parking lot of Superior Middle School.

7) Run reverse route back to NBC Spartan Sports Complex.

The two orgainzations that our event aims to help are the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans and the Douglas County Wiscosin Soldier & Sailor Relief Fund.
