Compensation: $6,000–$8,000/month, depending on experience. Contractual arrangement may be considered.

CASDA is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and mission-driven Interim Executive Director to lead and oversee the organization’s operations, programs, staff, and community engagement. This full-time, temporary role is ideal for a nonprofit leader with a strong background in administration, strategic planning, financial oversight, and trauma-informed services. The Interim Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the agency's continued impact and sustainability during a leadership transition.
Key Responsibilities:
● Oversee day-to-day operations
● Supervise and support staff and volunteers
● Ensure compliance with policies, grants, and relevant laws
● Lead budgeting, grant development, and fundraising efforts
● Represent CASDA in the community and maintain strong partnerships
● Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors
Qualifications:
● Degree in Human Services or related field and/or equivalent experience
● Minimum 3 years of supervisory and nonprofit leadership experience
● Experience in financial management, program development, and public relations
● Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
● Commitment to anti-racism, equity, and survivor-centered services

1. Coordination and Implementation of Administrative Services:
- Responsible for overseeing the overall functions of the agency.
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of continuous quality assurance as well as agency assessments and internal and external.
- Responsible for the implementation and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Implementation and evaluation of strategic planning.
- Development, implementation and evaluation of criteria to grant compliance.
- Monitoring of state and federal laws and administrative codes relevant to domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse victims and service providers.
2. Supervision and Personnel Administration:
- Overall implementation of personnel policies and procedures in compliance with all state and federal laws.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, agency orientation, and termination of all personnel.
- Development, implementation, and evaluation of Employee Evaluation procedures, ensuring staff input.
- Assessing and improving staffing patterns, work hours, and compensation.
- Maintenance and auditing of personnel files for each employee to include current job descriptions, employee time sheets, insurance information, and other data as required by state and federal laws as well as CASDA personnel policies.
- Oversee the contracting of agency insurance policies, including required professional liability insurance.
Financial Functions:
- Development and implementation of agency budget.
- Responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of grant applications.
- Responsible for ensuring an annual agency audit in accordance with all state and federal requirements.
Public Relations:
- Development of dependable network within community.
- Oversee the planning and coordination of all agency publicity.
- Act as agency liaison to local community agencies in an effort to provide effective, coordinated and quality services to survivors.
Administrative Coordinator:
- Liaison with community on behalf of CASDA in an effort to solicit donations, funding, etc. for the agency.
- Liaison with the Board of Directors on behalf of the agency and its staff and volunteers.
- Liaison with various Board Committees in an effort to enhance communication and unity.
Board of Directors:
- Liaison with the President of the Board of Directors.
- Liaison with the members of the Board in an effort to represent staff and volunteer concerns.
- Monthly reports from each department submitted to the Board of Directors.
Other:
- Participate in board and staff meetings.
- Other duties as assigned by the President of the Board of Directors.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Experience in nonprofit administration.
- Skills in program development and implementation, personnel administration, financial management, fundraising and public relations.
- Knowledge of and experience working with domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse survivors.
- Ability to interact with people of various cultures and ethnic backgrounds.
- Ability to set clear, professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of area resources and contacts.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
