Giving Blood is a Slam Dunk
December 15, 2017 (Duluth, MN) – This January, all presenting blood donors with Memorial Blood Centers will receive a voucher for a pair of Minnesota Timberwolves tickets. See a game at the newly renovated Target Center! Plus, donors will be entered for a chance to win a four-pack of tickets to watch a Timberwolves game from a Target Center suite. Memorial Blood Centers is the sole supplier of blood to 12 air ambulance bases and more than 30 hospitals across the state. Maintaining a stable blood supply during winter months and around holidays can be difficult, as many regular donors take vacations, observe holidays, or postpone their regular appointments. Give blood and help save lives in your community!
To find a blood drive or donor center nearest you, visit us online, or see upcoming blood drives in your area listed below. To register, go to MBC.ORG, or contact the sponsoring organization directly. While walk-in donors are always welcome, we encourage appointments be made in advance.
It’s important for donors to keep their blood donation appointments, as these appointments help MBC plan a stable supply of blood for local hospitals.
