Ride the DTA for Free on New Year’s Eve after 5:00 p.m.
DULUTH, MINNESOTA (December 13, 2018) – The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) is partnering with Bernick’s, KBJR/KDLH, Townsquare Media, and the Duluth News Tribune to provide free bus rides on New Year’s Eve. Ride free on all regular-route buses beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2018.
The free fares will be offered throughout the DTA’s service area including all of Duluth and Superior. Service will be extended on most DTA routes until after 12:00 midnight with the last bus departing the Duluth Transportation Center (DTC) downtown at 2:55 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
“Bernick’s is proud to be a part of the DTA Ride Free campaign. Ensuring people have a safe way to get home after celebrating the New Year is important to Bernick’s and our community,” said Jason Bernick, Director of Corporate Affairs at Bernick’s.
