On Tuesday February 28th, 2012 a public information meeting will be held to familiarize interested parties with the project on Belknap Street between Banks Ave and Hill Ave. The purpose of this meeting is to gather knowledge and to note public concerns about the proposed improvement. Preliminary design concepts are being considered for the proposed roadway improvement,including areas of parking, sidewalk, street lighting, and addition of bike accommodation. During the investigation phase, various surveys and data will be collected for the above-mentioned project.
There are two opportunities to attend this meeting. Each meeting will have a discussion time and opportunity for question and answers. This meeting will be an opportunity for public comment on the potential work and concepts of the project.
WisDOT staff members and City of Superior representatives will be available to discuss the proposed project
and familiarize interested parties with the project concepts.
