Annual Spring Clean Up

The city offers an annual spring clean up (usually beginning the first Monday in May) where residents can place refuse that doesn't fit into their trash can out for pick up.  This would include items such as old chairs, tables, toys, lawn furniture, etc.  Please note that there are a number of items that will not be picked up as they cannot be disposed of in the landfill.  The 2018 Spring Clean Up Schedule is posted HERE.  Please review the list of items that will not be picked up.
Please also review the section that outlines where to place your items (place in the area your garbage can is picked up weekly).  If you have questions, please call the Street Department @ 715-394-0244.

Before disposing of items, please consider donating them to keep them out of the landfill.  There are a number of charities in the city that accept clothing and household items.  The Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 1621 Broadway Street accepts usable home improvement items, furniture, and working appliances.  If you are unsure about an item please contact the Restore at (218) 722-3875 or visit their website.
