    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

DTA Superior Street Reconstruction Detour Starts on Tuesday, April 17, 2018

DULUTH, MINNESOTA (April 17, 2018) – (EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY) The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) will detour all bus routes traveling to-and-from the west from the Duluth Transportation Center (DTC).

DTA buses will not provide service on Superior Street between Mesaba Ave and 3rd Avenue West. Passengers should board westbound buses on 1st Street and eastbound buses on 2nd Street.  The DTC may be the most convenient location for some passengers to board and alight buses during this detour.

This is Phase I of the Superior Street Reconstruction Project which will close Superior Street from 3rd Avenue West to Mesaba Avenue.  This detour is anticipated to last through mid-July or until Phase I is completed.

Details and updates regarding official DTA detours can be viewed at duluthtransit.com.
