Ragtime Recital Series presents UW-Superior’s Jeffrey Madison, Alexander Sandor
The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will host the Ragtime Recital Series featuring UW-Superior’s Jeffrey Madison, senior lecturer of voice and music history, and Alexander Sandor, senior lecturer of piano and class piano, on Saturday, November 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the Webb Recital Hall.
The audience will be treated to a fun and informative concert featuring an exploration of comedic songs and virtuoso stride piano solos by Fats Waller, as well as a sampling of early American art songs that show zeitgeist of the era during which ragtime evolved.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students.
